CADDA is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for our upcoming FemTech, Innovation and Diagnostics for Women’s Health Workshop, taking place on 18 June 2026. Delivered in collaboration with Lehane Consulting, the event brings together experts, innovators and practitioners committed to improving diagnostic pathways and technologies for women.
The programme features a strong line-up of speakers who will explore the realities, challenges and opportunities shaping innovation in diagnostics for women’s health. Among the speakers are Lucy Lehane from Lehane Consulting, who will discuss how sector diversity and user-centred design can improve diagnostic experiences for women. The workshop features three inspiring breakout sessions, each of which focuses on a core challenge in women’s health diagnostics.
- Inclusive Innovation will explore how to design tests that work for diverse populations and how to address data gaps.
- Unfulfilled Ambitions will look at barriers in development and adoption, including biomarker considerations in the context of women’s health, usability for women and the drivers influencing market positions and uptake.
- Point of Need will examine how access to diagnostics aligns with women’s lives, from community testing to homebased self tests and how these feed into care pathways.
These sessions are designed to be practical, interactive and grounded in real‑world challenges.
Other topics will include how innovation at point of care can change outcomes, the history and possible future of diagnostics for women’s health and the wider system changes needed to close gender health gaps.
This workshop is an opportunity for clinicians, researchers, innovators and industry partners to connect, learn and contribute to a more equitable diagnostic landscape for women. The day will also feature pitches and presentations from start-ups developing diagnostic innovations for women, offering a platform for new ideas and early stage ventures shaping the next wave of diagnostic Femtech solutions.
